Frequently Asked Questions

Please fill out the New Client Inquiry Form here: Click Here. Shortly after receipt Chef Nancy will reach out to you for your discovery call. We are a very personalized business and want to be sure we are meeting the needs of every client as well as possible. During the discovery call Nancy will talk with you about your household, who you are feeding, any allergies or dietary restrictions, and learn more about what you need on a week to week basis. At this time, she will also speak with you regarding the logistics of our meal delivery service and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Q: How do I sign up?

Q: I have food sensitivities. Can I eat your food?

Absolutely! Not only is the kitchen gluten- and peanut-free but we can cater to most allergies and food sensitivities.

Q: How much does it cost?

Please check out our pricing page or you may also download a detailed list of package options here: Pricing PDF

Q: Do you have gift cards?

Yes, we do! We love supporting your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors too! Please note: using a gift card does not require a subscription service. Click here to purchase a gift card.

If you are subscribed to a Meat & Seafood package and wish to order an entree from the Vegetarian menu you may do so at the Meat & Seafood package rate. Mixed orders default to the Meat & Seafood rate unless we establish an agreed upon number of Vegetarian and Meat & Seafood selections with each order at a special rate when you become a client. We can talk about this on your discovery call.

With larger orders of four or more servings per dish, we will charge you for the corresponding package price for that item. For example, if you want 4 servings of a Vegetarian meal and 4 servings of a Meat & Seafood meal, we will charge you for 4 Vegetarian meals at $65 plus 4 Meat & Seafood meals at $85.

Q: What if I want to mix Vegetarian dishes with Meat & Seafood dishes?

Q: Are you a subscription service?

We are a subscription “like” service. There is not a weekly flat fee that is automatically charged. However, in order to properly source ingredients and staff the kitchen, we are anticipating your order or request to pause by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week. If we do not receive either, you will be charged a $50 production fee.

Once you become a client, menu ordering will be as follows:

  • The menu options for the week will be sent to you via email no later than Wednesday at 7 pm of the preceding week.

  • To ensure we have proper staffing and supplies, your order is due to us via email by 7 pm Friday of the preceding week. This includes letting us know of any substitutions and number of servings for each menu item you choose.

  • Please note: If you would like to pause for a week, you must let us know by email  by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week. Failure to do so will incur a $50 production fee. Please see our cancellation policy listed above.

  • With receipt of your order, a confirmation email will be sent back to you and payment will be processed at that time.

  • Radiant Health Kitchen reserves the right to remove or change menu items due to unforeseen sourcing or production issues and will notify you as soon as possible of any changes to our delivery or impacts to the timing of our delivery.

Q: What is the ordering process?

With your first order Radiant Health Kitchen will invoice you via Square. At that time, we ask for you to save a card to file. The Square platform is secure and protects your card information. We can only see the last 4 digits of your card. All future payments are processed electronically via Square with a confirmed order. Unless receipt of a cancellation of your order is received by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week via email a $50 charge will automatically be incurred. If you require your card to be changed, please notify us by email. For further information see Cancellation Policy below.

Q: Do you automatically charge my card?

If you would like to pause for a week, you must let us know by email by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week. Failure to do so will incur a $50 production fee.

To cancel your service all together we require a two week notice. We are a small boutique company with a limited number of spots. A two week notice will allow us to adjust for coming week’s productions and potentially fill your spot.  If a two week notice is not given, you will incur a $100 cancellation fee.

When you register for a weekly meal plan, you expressly acknowledge and agree that (A) Radiant Health Kitchen (or our third-party payment processor, Square) is authorized to charge you on a weekly basis for your confirmed order for as long as your meal plan continues, and (B) your agreement to our terms of service is continuous until you cancel. You may skip a weekly order no more than four consecutive weeks in a row; after four consecutive weeks of skipping, your contract will be terminated and the cancellation fee of $100 will be charged. If you wish to pause your service, please email us directly by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

Q: Do you share my information with anyone?

No. RHK honors the confidentiality of everything discussed with you as well as personal information stored in our client database. We do not sell or share any information about our clients with anyone. In addition, the Chef will not divulge that the Chef and Client are in a working relationship without the permission of you.

Due to the short turn-around for orders, once the payment is processed no refunds will be provided. Upon receipt of meals, if you are not satisfied with the product, and it is within the RHK’s means to provide a replacement, we will do so. Otherwise, we will provide a credit to you via a gift card for future purchases. If something is missing and we are unable to provide a replacement by the next day, we will issue a refund for that item to your card on file.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

We ask that you provide clear feedback and guidance to the Chef for any food allergies, food aversions, and/or preferences prior to food preparation.

Additionally, we also ask our customers to give the Chef feedback, positive or negative, on the quality of food preparation, portioning, delivery logistics, etc. We want our customers to be satisfied and rely on feedback from our clients to make adjustments or improve our services. Please see our refund policy for further guidance.

Repeated missing bags and ice packs will result in a $25 fee if bag pick-up is missed for two consecutive weeks.

Q: Are there any other charges I should know about?

Q: Do you offer anything for referrals?

Absolutely! We love when our clients are so happy they want to share us with their friends! It’s the greatest compliment. RHK offers a $50 credit to the referring client for any referrals who sign up for a recurring weekly subscription. Credit will be issued after 4 consecutive weeks of referring client’s order.

Q: Are calorie counts and/or macros available for the meals?

We are not set-up at the moment to provide macros or calorie counts for our meals. We strive for well balanced, whole food meals, and provide complete transparency with what we are cooking with in our weekly menu. We can confirm that our protein portions when sliced or shredded are 5 oz. We provide 1 cup of most starches, and the veggies are typically cooked in small amounts of butter, olive oil or grapeseed oil (1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon / indicated on the menu), so you can take the step to input these things into a diet track, if you need to.

Our containers are recyclable! You can recycle the containers on your own, or you can wash and send the containers back in the bag the following week and we will reuse or recycle them. Bags and ice packs are returned to our kitchen where they are washed and sanitized for re-use. Please place the ice packs and cooler bags by your door for us to pick up for your next delivery. Repeated missing bags and ice packs will result in a $25 fee if bag pick-up is missed for two consecutive weeks.

Q: What do I do with my containers, cooler bags, and ice packs?

Q: How do I pause deliveries or skip a week?

If you would like to pause for a week, you must let us know by email by 7 pm on Friday of the preceding week. Failure to do so will incur a $50 production fee. You may pause your deliveries for 4 consecutive weeks.

Q: If I cancel my service, may I sign up again?

Of course! Just reach out to us!

Q: How do I reheat my food?

Your meal is ready to heat and eat. It can be done in the packed container, or you can transfer to a microwave or oven safe dish. Remove any garnishes or fresh vegetables (like lettuce for tacos, or any cupped sauces [unless otherwise instructed])

Tip: For optimal reheating of animal protein, reheat meat separately from grains and veggies.

  • Microwave

Meats: 1 - 1.5 Minutes on High Power

Veggies and Grains: 1.5 - 2.5 Minutes on High Power

Times and Power level may vary depending on your wattage!

  • Oven

Sprinkle your dish with water and cover with foil or an oven-safe lid. Reheat at 350 Degrees for 12 - 15 minutes

Nothing brings people together like good food.
